Ask your home improvement contractor if a corner tub will be suited to your bathroom, and if not, consider a shower-tub combination that gives you the best of both in the same space. If you do have a larger bathroom and are able to splurge, the sky is the limit for you. Two person tubs may consume more water, but are still a quality investment to make. A whirlpool tub can be the answer to a hard day at work. Claw footed tubs will make your bath look like they've stepped off a really classy interiors magazine, while granite and marble, sunk in tubs give your bath the movie star-home look. While selecting bathroom countertops, look for high equality materials that last long and retain their looks, like granite or soapstone. These may be expensive, but are worth the price.
